1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Discover STMA ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Discover STMA is a community directory and information platform serving the St. Michael–Albertville (STMA) area of Minnesota. The Service allows community members to discover local businesses, organizations, events, job opportunities, local deals, and news, and allows business and organization owners to list and manage their profiles.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization, impersonate any individual or organization, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Business Listings
Business owners may claim or have listings created for their business. By submitting listing information, you represent that you are authorized to do so on behalf of the business.
You are responsible for ensuring that all listing information is accurate, current, and not misleading. Listings containing false, deceptive, or illegal content will be removed.
New listings are subject to admin review before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our discretion.
5. Paid Plans & Billing
Enhanced and Premium listing plans are available on an annual subscription basis. Pricing is as displayed on our Pricing page.
Subscriptions automatically renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your billing dashboard.
Additional deal post credits are available as one-time purchases ($20 per credit) for Premium listing owners. Deal credits are non-refundable once the checkout is completed.
Refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact info@discoverstma.com within 14 days of purchase for refund requests.
Upon subscription expiration or cancellation, your listing will revert to Basic tier. No data is deleted.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
- Spam or send unsolicited communications to other users
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
7. Intellectual Property
The Discover STMA name, logo, and original content on this site are owned by Discover STMA. User-submitted content (business descriptions, photos, etc.) remains the property of the submitter; by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content through the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing information. Discover STMA is not responsible for the products, services, or representations of any listed business or organization.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discover STMA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wright County, Minnesota.
