Description

Toolmaker Apprentice
Pay scale starts at $23/hr with incremental increases up to $33/hr

Location: Delano, Minnesota, United States

Job Summary: Supports manufacturing by building molds, fixtures and related tools, completing repairs and revising design specifications as needed.

  • Setup and operate tool room equipment
  • Build, repair, and revise molds and fixtures
  • Use CAD/CAM to analyze and interpret designs
  • Inspect machined components and record dimensional data

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years toolmaking experience
CNC machining setup and operation
Basic toolmaking understanding
2-year technical degree desired
Responsibilities
Setup and operate tool room equipment
Build and repair molds and fixtures
Revise tooling to design specifications
Use CAD/CAM to interpret designs
Inspect machined components and record data
Troubleshoot and repair molds
Monitor MRP tooling resource queues
Complete assigned projects and tasks
