Position Overview & Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and instruct students with a wide range of abilities
• Assess student learning and collect/analyze student data to plan instruction
• Create an engaging and respectful classroom environment
• Communicate with students, parents, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and supervise students
• Participate in school improvement initiatives

Start date: 1/19/26
FTE: 1.0
Contract: approximately 4-6 weeks

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education
• State teaching certificate required
• DD licensure required from PELSB
• Special Education background preferred
• Successful student teaching experience

Salary & Benefits

• $249.55/day (Long-Term Substitute Certified Staff Rate)
• District benefits for assignments longer than 30 days
• Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)
