We are seeking a theologically sound, Lutheran faith-based individual for the position of Director of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) program at Alleluia Lutheran Church in St. Michael, MN. This is a twelve month, flexible, part-time position for approximately 20 hours per week.
Position Overview: The Director of CYF will support and grow a Lutheran faith-based program for children, youth and families through creative learning, mentoring, and community engagement.
Grow and strengthen children, youth, and family programs
Lead teachings through biblical stories
Mentor youth in their spiritual journey
Communicate with youth, parents, and mentors
Develop community engagement and service opportunities
Uphold safe church practices and policies
Support ministry administration and staff collaboration
Strengthen social media and communications
Requirements: Understanding of ELCA theology; strong relationship and communication skills; comfortable with technology and social media; organized and resourceful. No degree required; youth ministry experience strongly desired.
