Description

Business Banker

Deerwood Bank is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and professional Business Banker to work in our St Michael, MN location. This position is responsible for managing an existing portfolio of business clients as well as developing new business. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of business banking in the NW Metro market.

  • Manage existing portfolio of business clients
  • Develop new business
  • Respond to business client requests
  • Maintain portfolio according to credit guidelines
  • Assist credit analysts with loan presentations
  • Ensure secured loans are properly documented

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 Annually. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications
Four-year college degree
5 years commercial lending experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Work independently
Business development skills
Proficient with MS Word and Excel
Responsibilities
Manage business client portfolio
Develop new business
Respond to business client requests
Utilize SBA and local programs
Maintain portfolio per credit guidelines
Assist credit analysts with presentations
Obtain necessary approvals
Ensure secured loan documentation
Mentor junior bankers and analysts
